Once you have found a suitable product or products, compare them feature by feature to see which one meets your needs better.
While looking at these products also look at the provides of these products and ask for reference sites so you can find out if the company you are dealing with has a good reputation.
Find out how long the company has been in business, but also how long the current business name has been trading (do a company search if you are not sure). Most good software resellers have been in business for several years and have always traded under the same name, all too often businesses who have problems in the software industry end up closing their business down and re-opening under a new but simular name, i.e. ACME Support PTY LTD becomes ACME Consulting PTY LTD the next day. if this is the case you need to be sure the company will do the right job.
